For those of you who haven't yet heard, Mike and I are heading off to Bangkok, Thailand at the end of February (and will be there for six months). I am going to be volunteering with an organization that provides legal representation to refugees and asylum seekers in Thailand, and Mike is in the process of lining up a job over there. Even though we will miss all of you (and Oscar) dearly, we are absolutely thrilled about this opportunity. As you all know, I have really been searching for fulfillment in my legal career and I think I am finally on the right path . . . .
Hopefully we will get a chance to see all of you before we leave!
Love, Karen

Back in the saddle! :)

Congratulations on your new adventure! As always I am very proud of you! It's people like you who make the world a better place. I hope the experience in Bangkok is everything you hoped it will be.
Jim has a newphew who recenty moved to Bangkok. He and his wife teach English there. They have taught in other countries as well. Perhaps I could get their contact information, if you are interested.
Travel safely.
Love, Aunt Nancy
Karen & Mike:
We enjoyed your pics of Chile and Mike's family. It looks like a great hike.
If you like the mountains, you need to see the Teton's?
Love, MOM & DAD
PS Go NY!
I wish you both well on this upcoming adventure! It is an incredible thing that you're doing! I'm still pretty upset that you didn't choose to do this earlier when I wasn't expecting a bebe and could travel out there to visit you...but I still wish you the best.
